Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy can be a combination of different types of treatments. The treatments I will be providing are Ultrasound, TENS and NMES. In short terms these can help with a wide range of problems, for example: relief of chronic pain, the management if post-op pain, muscle re-education, increasing range or motion, relief of pain with ligaments, muscle spasms and sprains, tendinitis and joint pain.

Electro-Acupucnture

For electro-acupuncture the same process starts as acupuncture, needles are placed in the same spots then a small electrode is attached to the needle. A small amount of electricity is then ran through the electrodes which gives a slight vibration. This helps to reach larger areas of pain and helps to increase blood flow.
